17 | Sep 2 2014 | Hardware Voting Is Going Live!
Hi folks, this was a long day for us. But, we are getting Hardware Voting out... admittedly at the tail-end of Labor Day weekend.

It may take up to 24 hours for the Hardware Voting ballot to hit your email inbox. Please do not panic if you haven't gotten yours yet. Kickstarter throttles the sending to avoid spam filters.

The ballot may seem a bit odd in terms of format, we had to roll with some punches as to how Kickstarter surveys work. But, weighing other options, we felt Kickstarter was the best system to get Hardware Voting done the fastest.

We're happy to take your questions via the comments page here. We'll start sharing more updates on Console OS development after we get Hardware Voting out of the way. Finally, do not panic to get Hardware Voting done - we won't tabulate things until after the Intel Developer Forum, so you have more than a week to get this one done.

Thanks everyone, this won't be the last delay, but as we noted the delays in getting payments and backer tallies cleared - we'll chronicle each and every step, hurdle, and snag along the way.

P.S. If you are in a backer tier of $25 and up, you'll be asked for your shipping details. This is so we can ship you shirts and other perks, depending on your backer tier. Please be sure to fill this out or we may not automatically send you your stuff.

A second survey will go out for shirt sizes, should that apply to you at a later date - we are guessing you want Console OS builds first, t-shirts and laptop stickers second.
