Android-x86 will still be around because enthusiasts created it, but once Google finishes the roll out, ConsoleOS is done. Remix OS might be as well.

I agree. Chromebooks outsold Macs this quarter and Windows PC sales continue to slide. Price, in typical form, refuses to admit there's a shift happening. If people buy new PCs, they could likely be Chromebooks. If they don't, they can just install Remix OS. There's absolutely no place for Console OS anymore.

He really doesn't have a clue. He's faking concern over his "friends" at Intel employees losing their jobs, while talking to a backer who actually has given him money, even if it was only ten bucks, and received nothing. Then he's talking about how he's been in talks with people at Intel.

Stop it. You don't "have 12,000 friends at Intel." Hell, if you only had a dozen, you would think one of them would have told you about IA or told you about them discontinuing the Broxton chip before they announced it to the rest of us. You have no contacts at Intel. At the most, you called a customer service rep, who told you the same thing that Intel told the entire world last week, that they would remain dedicated (whatever that means) to Android despite dropping support for certain chips.

Update 38 is live but only backers can see it. Which means almost no one will see it. Just how he wants it because it's gonna be a bunch of bullshit. Hopefully someone still has access and can share it. It's sure to be equal parts hilarious and nauseating. Likely a ton of lies about x86 and Jide.

I see CP is still in denial.......latest post from backers comments:

@ PJzuza: First of all, it hasn't even been two years. We launched this Kickstarter on June 12, 2014. Second, yeah, we aren't required to refund anyone. But if this pivot works, we will because we think it's the right thing to do.

Ya BUT CP....in June of 2014 you CLAIMED you had been working
on it in "STEALTH MODE" for 18 months....so my math gives:

18(months prior to 2014) + 24(months from June 2014) = 42 months OR 3 and 1/2 years...!!
and still NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THE 100 great new features you promised....

keep slinging that BS.....

(never was good at math...had to correct!! LOL)

I'm dying to know what the update says.  It seems to have stirred up the, ehh, user base.  Apparently the "R" word was weaseled? Undecided

I think Christopher Price has lost his panache.  His last update was uninspired and lacked his usual jizztrumpet tonalities.

Quote:+We cannot thank Mike Reid enough for his contributions to the community. His departure cannot be overstated to this effort.

So, his departure can be understated?

Wow.  That's bold. But I guess we've come to expect that.  And we can see the development continuation here:
Quote:If you're a developer, I'm willing to fund some attention to this - send me a message and let's collaborate. I'll start running logs tonight and see what I can come up with.

freudian slip Wink

Fund them with his refurbished trinkets? What happened to his team of developers? No. Nothing? His team in Paris? No. Nothing? His network of developers who've received his "Developer Rewards"? No. Nothing? Robert?

Like a parasite, he needs to attach himself to a new host, I guess.

Incidentally I wonder if any companies did actually donate to his "Developer Rewards"... will we see them on eBay soon?

Some other recent Christopher Price endeavors (from his only, actual business):

Flipping stuff on eBay: https://www.christopherprice.net/ebay-de...-3617.html
and: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Office...SwbYZXXLB5

Some deep insightful pontifications on socialism:

Quote:On the eve of the Brexit vote, I’m reminded of what Margaret Thatcher once said: “The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

(he's certainly the expert on other people's money)

Scamming and whining at companies for free stuff (see also: whining at RingPlus)

Kinda gives you a nice little overview of this guy's character.

So apparently the developer whose work Price was going to take as his next scam has passed away.

"Console Developer Rewards", the great success announced back in January, has been re-purposed to try and get others to fix his problems for him (sound familiar?) and contribute towards this new "scheme".

There are no "SSL engineers on-staff" at the Console HQ apparently. They have publicists and PR people and a branch in Paris, but no "SSL engineers".

Also, to illustrate how big of a scumbag Christopher Price is, a guy passes away and Price devotes one or two sentences to that and then spends the next two or three paragraphs soliciting and advertising for help in his next scam.
