Have you ever gone to a forum or article about ConsoleOS and felt curious about a person singing its praises? After all, ConsoleOS is a scam, and yet there is this person who seems happy and enthusiastic about it. Perhaps you're wrong and should reevaluate your views?
Nah. Let's take a look at one of these supporters:
Meet Mr. hatoncat who exhorts people to support ConsoleOS:
because Android-x86 sucks:
and ConsoleOS is definately not vaporware:
(sidenote: hahahahahahaha)
he's even put his own money down. he's a backer:
Again, Android-x86 sucks!
It really does, even the code sucks!
While ConsoleOS is a class act!
Who is Mr. hatoncat? An enthusiastic early backer, perhaps? Nope. It is none other than (you guessed it!), Christopher Price in one of his "pretend to be another user" alter egos. He goes to great lengths in this mini-con, pretending to be someone who's read their (ConsoleOS') Kickstarter and support it.
How can I be so sure that Mr. hatoncat is Christoper Price? He lets it slip in one of his blog posts (look at the username on the image).
This is the kind of duplicitous behavior we're dealing with here and it demonstrates how Price has been a pathological liar from the beginning.

Quote:Yes, but as they noted, people asked for Surface Pro above everything else combined. A lot of people may have been holding off for this kind of assessment.
And to those who haven't backed it, you're part of the problem!
because Android-x86 sucks:
Quote:I've used Android-x86 for years - it's buggy and there's a reason not one PC maker in the world ships with it. If Console OS is licensed by Intel and others, it's going to have drivers that will actually work.
And yes, some OSS advocates will balk at that - but Console OS is another choice there.
and ConsoleOS is definately not vaporware:
Quote:Latest YouTube video has by my count around a half dozen different devices shown off. Might want to watch the safety on your vaporware rifle.
(sidenote: hahahahahahaha)
he's even put his own money down. he's a backer:
Quote:Goldfish-x86 compiles on AOSP - that's just the emulator. You cannot natively boot AOSP on a PC.
To the rest, I'm for the underdog and we've stated our cases. Disagree... with my wallet.
Again, Android-x86 sucks!
Quote:As an Android-x86.org user, I can tell you a startup there would be a welcomed relief. The state of Android-x86.org is a complete mess. Most of the stuff in it has fallen apart. The project had some initial funding from AMD and it all went to hell. The stack doesn't support UEFI natively, and everything has become a cheap (and unreliable) hack.
It really does, even the code sucks!
Quote:It's been years since Android-x86.org got proper patches. If anything the code is a pile of junk and should be started from scratch. You started this thread attacking this Kickstarter as having no point, now you're proposing alternative solutions that you think is better to solve the same problem.
While ConsoleOS is a class act!
Quote:Sigh. You really are messing up on the facts so much it isn't funny. The only core component of Android that is GPL, is the Linux kernel. The rest is mixed license, typically Apache, that doesn't require code sharing upstream.
Console OS has agreed to do so, most do not. A class act move on their part.
